Second small-boats protest in two days: hundreds block Portsmouth after 140 migrants land

Protesters blocked roads around Portsmouth for hours on Sunday night after 140 migrants were brought ashore in Hampshire — much further west than small boats usually arrive. Crowds tried to stop the migrants being taken to the Manston processing centre in Kent, and the disruption continued into the early hours.
