28 May 2026: Good Jobs Bill deadlocked in Executive

Archibald's Good Jobs Bill — a major workers' rights reform package — was discussed by the Stormont Executive but no agreement was reached. The bill would replace zero-hour contracts with "banded hours," cut the trade union recognition threshold from 21 to 10 employees, and give unions a "right to request" workplace access.
